The legal successors of composer H.E. Erwin Walther are presently engaged in implementing the H.E. Erwin Walther - Foundation (in German: H.E. Erwin Walther - Stiftung).

The foundation's intended purpose is the promotion ot the rememberance and the enhancement of the public awareness of the composer.

Simultaneously, the complete artistic estate will be permanently assigned to the Archive of the City of Amberg (in German: Stadtarchiv Amberg) with the intention of permanently presenting the composer's oeuvre to the public.
